Hasali meets Dinara in the Under 18 girls’ singles final

Hasali Gajaba will meet Dinara de Silva in the Under 18 girls’ singles final of the 107th Colombo Championships at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts today.

Gajaba reached the final after ousting number one seed Vishmi Serasinghe 4-6, 6-1, 10-7 in the semi-final. Dinara too fought back after a first-set defeat to beat Anitra Dharmaratne 3-6, 6-3, 10-3.

Dinara has reached the final of the Under 16 age category as well. She is set to meet Githmi Fernando in the Under 16 final.

In the Under 14 boys’ singles final played on Tuesday, Saha Kapilasena beat Ganuka Fernando 4-6, 7-6 (6), 10-7 to clinch the title.
