A disciplined performance with the ball and a collective show with the bat, headlined by David Miller’s return to form, helped Gujarat Titans bounce back from the loss against Chennai Super Kings as they registered a seven-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday (March 31). The power-packed SRH batting order was restricted to 162/8 and GT took 19.1 overs to reach the target, with Sai Sudharsan (45 off 36) and Miller (44* off 27) top-scoring. No individual fifty was scored in the game, which further extended GT’s wait for a half-century score this season.

Brief scores:
Sunrisers Hyderabad 162/8 in 20 overs (Abdul Samad 29, Abhishek Sharma 29; Mohit Sharma 3-25) lost to  Gujarat Titans 168/3 in 19.1 overs (Sai Sudharsan 45, David Miller 44; Pat Cummins 1-28) by 7 wickets
