Govt. to bear electricity cost of Kandy Esala Perahera

KANDY —The cost of electricity supplied for the annual Kandy Esala Perahera amounting Rs.7.1 million would be paid by the government, Kandy District Secretary Chandana Tennakoon said.

This covered the cost of electricity supplied to several places of religious worship,bus stands,vehicle parks, temporary lodgings of security forces, and important public buildings, etc.
