Govt. repairs 200 buses

The government has repaired 200 buses belonging to 107 SLTB depots. The newly refurbished buses were handed over to SLTB at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (22) at an event attended by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Transport Minister Pavitra Wanniarachchi and State Minister Dilum Amunugana were present on the occasion. The government has spent Rs 136 mn on the project. In the first phase of the project completed in Dec 2020, the government repaired 272 buses
