Global Spiritual Forum

Global Spiritual Forum, was founded by well-known Hospitality Management Consultant, Dean, Tourism Professor, Author and Hotelier, Dr. Chandana (Chandi) Jayawardena on May 14, 2020. Within 12 weeks, over 1000 people from different religions and faiths, as well as many spiritual free thinkers from 38 countries have joined this group. Chandi is assisted by three other Administrators: Dr. Vipula Wanigasekara, Senior Lecturer of Edith Cowan University, Australia, Samanthi De Mel, Senior Consultant of the University of the West Indies, Jamaica and Ranjan De Silva, CEO of Sensei International in Asia. In addition, there are 20 Moderators from 10 countries, including: Professor Lakshman Madurasinghe of the University For Global Peace, USA, Dr. Desmond Thomas Gujarat of Cambridge University, England, and Dr. Aspasia Peppa of Young Scientists University, USA. Over 65% of the members are from Sri Lanka.

Global Spiritual Forum’s Facebook page currently attracts a daily average of 450 member interactions (including 25 posts). Encouraged with the success of their first webinar on the theme: “What should Spiritual Seekers look for?”, the group is now considering to organize monthly webinars, on themes aligned with the group’s key objective: “To be engaged in debating and enhancing member’s appreciation of different spiritual philosophies, religions and faiths, as well as related aspects of nature, wellness and art.”
