Global digital transformation company UST explores expansion in Sri Lanka
UST, a leading digital transformation solutions company, headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California, United States, announced that it is exploring the possibility of setting up operations in Sri Lanka. Their intention is to hire over 10,000 new employees across the globe.
With offices across 25 countries and over 35 offices, UST is a rapidly growing information technology company that provides cutting-edge digital transformation services, products, and platforms to Global 2000 and Fortune 500 enterprises worldwide. With over 28,000 employees worldwide, UST has dedicated software delivery centers and offices in the United States, Canada, India, Mexico, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Poland, Israel, Spain, Philippines, Singapore, Germany, and Australia.
Paras Chandaria, Executive Chairman, UST and other company representatives are currently in Colombo, meeting with various stakeholders, business representatives, and Government officials.
UST’s principal shareholder Comcraft, through their investment arm, has also been successfully investing in Sri Lanka for over 40 years since early 1980s. Some of their investments includes Lanka Aluminium Industries PLC and its group companies, Metecno (Pvt) Ltd, Mainetti (Pvt) Ltd, CIC Agri Business and several other companies.
