Githmi, Chanula win age category titles

First Capital SSC Open Tennis

Githmi Fernando and Chanula Abeysinghe won the girls’ Under 16 singles title and boys’ Under 14 singles titles respectively of the First Capital SSC Open Tennis championships at SSC courts.

While Fernando beat Arushi Thomas 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 for her title victory, Abeysinghe recorded straight sets win (6-3, 6-0) over Aahil Kaleel in his final.

Meanwhile, Annaya Norbert and Yudeera Atapattu were the winners of the Under 12 girls’ and boys’ singles finals respectively.
