Get well messages…

Singer Joey Lewis, now based in England, was inundated with get well messages after we mentioned, in the Thursday Island of June 30th, that he had been tested positive for Covid-19.

Says Joey: “Can you please thank all our friends and fans, and your readers , for the numerous and heartening get well messages they sent me after reading about my brush with Covid on your page.

“I truly appreciate it. It was a huge shot in the arm hearing from them all, and knowing that I was in their thoughts and prayers.

“This is an awful virus that people should be wary of. It’s scary for me to think that, having gone through this, I still have no long term immunity to it.

“I don’t want to experience, what I’ve been through, in the past week or so, ever again.”
