GCE AL: Old Anandians to recognize top achievers

The Old Anandians’ 70-75 and 2007 groups has for the 16th consecutive year organized – “Nena Harasara 2021” to recognize students who excelled at the G.C.E. (A. Level) Examination – 2021 and to felicitate the members of the Tutorial Staff whose untiring efforts and devotion helped the students to excel.

The Ceremony will be held today at 7.30 am at the Kularatne Hall – Ananda College, with the patronage of the Principal Lal Disanayaka, Management Committee, and the Tutorial Staff. As in the previous years, the Event will be graced by distinguished old Anandians who have excelled in their respective disciplines to give recognition to the recipients who are being felicitated and to boost the morale and motivate the present student population to achieve greater heights. Ananda College recorded the highest percentage by any school country-wide, with 144 students gaining Distinctions in all three subjects; 62 students from the Mathematics Stream, 26 students from the Bio Stream, 46 students from the Commerce Stream, 04 students from the Engineering Technology Stream and 06 from the Arts Stream.
