GCE Advanced Level classes for those sitting GCE Ordinary Level to commence immediately after examination ends

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal presented by the Minister of Education to start Advanced Level classes for all students who appeared for the  G.C.E. (O/L) examination in May 2024 as soon as the examination ends.

Taking note of the fact that it takes at least three months for the Department of Examination to release the results after the completion of the General Certificate of Education (O/L) examination, and that students’ deviate from school education during this period and at times even drop out of school.

Commencing GCE Advanced Level classes as soon as the GCE Ordinary Level examination ends will make it possible to manage students’ time effectively and provide sufficient time for teachers to cover the Advanced Level syllabus.
