Ganja cultivation raided, suspect arrested

Police raided a cannabis plantation at Mullagasyaya, in Embilipitiya ,and arrested a suspect.

Police said the cannabis had been cultivated in an area encompassing about one and a half acres.

The cannabis plants, which were about one and a half months old, had grown to a height of about five feet, and the police destroyed them.
