Gamini clinches men’s singles wheelchair tennis title

Gamini Dissanayake prevented Ranjan Dharmasena from completing a hat trick of international titles when he won the men’s singles title of the SSC Open – UNIQLO Wheelchair International Tennis Tour 2022 at the SSC courts.

Ranjan Dharmasena won back to back International Wheelchair Singles titles in Negombo and at the SLTA courts and was seeking a third title at the SSC event which was organized for the 12th consecutive year.

In the men’s singles final Dissanayake beat Dharmasena 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 to clinch the title.
