‘Galle Dialogue 2023’ International Maritime Conference to begin in Galle on Thursday

The 11th edition of the Galle Dialogue International Maritime Conference, organized by the Sri Lanka Navy in partnership with the Ministry of Defence and Geopolitical Cartographer (GC), is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2023, at the Jetwing Lighthouse in Galle. The inaugural ceremony of this two-day conference, (12th and 13th October), will be held under the patronage of the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka,  Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The central theme of this year’s conference is “Emerging New Order in the Indian Ocean.” Maritime representatives from 44 countries, along with 11 international organizations and defence industry organizations, have been invited by the Sri Lanka Navy to participate in this year’s event on a global scale.
