Fox Hill drivers granted bail
The two drivers of the race cars involved in a fatal crash during the ‘Fox Hill Supercross 2024’ motorsport racing championship at Diyatalawa, were granted bail by the Bandarawela Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
They were arrested while undergoing treatment in hospital on April 22 and were ordered to be remanded in custody by the Bandarawela Magistrate on the same day.
Seven persons, including an eight-year-old girl, lost their lives, and more than 23 others were injured on Sunday (April 21) after a car ran off the track during a race and ploughed into spectators.
