Four year olds to be admitted to ‘Pre-Grade’ from 2025 – State Minister of Education

State Minister of Education Aravindh Kumar revealed that from next year (2025)  on-wards,   children who have reached four years of age by 31st January will be admitted to ‘Pre-Grade’ of all government schools.

Elaborating further he said on completion of ‘pre-grade’ the students will enter grade one and will sit the GCE Ordinary Level after completion of grade 10 and the GCE Advanced Level on completion of grade 12.
