Four kilos of ‘ICE’ seized

Acting on a tip-off from the public, police commandos on Sunday (10) arrested a person opposite a supermarket in Elakanda, Hendala. They recovered 4 kg and 329 g of crystal methamphetamine known as ice. The STF later handed over the 35-year-old suspect identified as a resident of Chawakattu, Mannar, to the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) for further investigation, along with his vehicle where the drug consignment was found.
