Four earthquakes reported in Mid Indian Ridge today (29)

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that four strong earthquakes took place in the Mid Indian Ridge of the Indian Ocean on Friday morning (Dec.29) south west of Sri Lanka.

The first quake registered a magnitude of 4.8 and a depth of 10km, with three subsequent quakes registered magnitudes of 5.2 (depth 10km), 5.8 (depth 7.7km) and 5.0 (depth 10km), respectively.
