Four day working week!

I have come across an article in a recent weekend newspaper about a company, which is going to have its employees work only four days a week. This Company will function for five days but the staff will be rostered. The following benefits will accrue from that measure:
1. A better work life balance
2. A better service/output as staff will be healthier and more efficient and therefore their productivity will be higher
3. Travel will be minimised reducing traffic congestion
4. Staff will be stress free as they will be able to execute their work load at home much better.
5. Workers will be able to spend more time with their children, parents and relatives.
6. They will have time to pursue further studies
7. Employees will be more committed
8. Employer will be able attract the best talent as the reduced number of working days will be an incentive

It is hoped that other companies will also adopt that practice.
