Fifteen-year old Lankan Go Karter bags silver in France

Fifteen-year old Yevan David of Sri Lanka won a Silver Medal at FIA World motor sports championship held in France on Sunday.This is his first year in the Senior open Karting category. The event attracted all nations in the world and is considered The Olympics of Motor Sports Karting.

It is the first time ever that a Sri Lankan has won a medal at this level.It is also the first time that a Sri Lankan ended up on the World Motor Sports podium finishes.The winner was 19-year old Ellie Goldstein of Belgium.
