Making another milestone the Saubhagya Foundation celebrated its ‘Femina awards ceremony at Water’s Edge recently.This awards ceremony was held to co-incide with Women’s Day on March 8th to felicitate recipients with varied accomplishments they have acquired throughout their career, and in reaching the peak of their profession.

The initial launch of this event was held on March 8 in 2022.Their vision is to empower and inspire hope for improved and livehood of women under various categories like life time awards, self reliance award, sports time award, Hall of fame, award etc.

Initially founded in 2018, by two board members, their main objective is to lead the organisation with kindness. ‘Our aim is to develop the economic social and cultural well being of the members and beneficiaries through the awareness, while encouraging society to spread love with kindness said one of the organisers

Hiranthi Karunatillake and Dulani Fernando, with professional background are pillars of this organisation The focus of Saubhagya foundation since beginning is to recognise and applaud women who has been an inspiration for all women, in doing so we aim to inspire more women entrepreneurs. – zanita
