Entries open for Otters Open Badminton Championship

Organisers of the Otters Open Badminton Championship are calling for applications for the June event sanctioned by the badminton governing body of Sri Lanka.

Otters Open Badminton Championship, organised by the Western Province Badminton Association and the Otters Aquatics Club under the supervision of Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) will be held from June 12-18 at Otters Aquatic Club, SLB courts and Mercantile Badminton Association indoor courts.

Entries will close on May 30.

The Otters Open Badminton Championship is a Level 1 ranking tournament accredited by SLB,

Competitions will be conducted under three sectors, junior, senior and open for singles, doubles and mixed doubles categories. The junior category includes U- 11, U- 13, U-15, U- 17 and U- 19 events. The senior category includes age categories of Over 30, 35, 40,45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70.

The tournament is sponsored by McFoil, Mobil Lubricants, Li Ning, 3M and GAC.
