Enjoining order against GNOA extended

The Colombo District Court yesterday extended an enjoining order, preventing Government Nursing Officers’ Association (GNOA) and its President Saman Rathnapriya from resorting to trade union action till 28 February.

Colombo Additional District Judge Chandani Dias extended the enjoining order considering a request made by Attorney General’s Department, pointing out that trade union action in the health sector causers hardships to patients.
