Employees contribution to W&OP scheme increased to 8% of basic salary from April 2024

The deduction percentage from the salary for the Widows’ & Widowers’ and Orphans’ Pensions (W&OP) scheme which is 6-7 percent of the basic salary at present will be increased to 8 percent for all service categories from April 2024 onward.
