Embracing Life

Awakened Ma is at her window,

As first light rises like a halo,

Over the yet slumbering greenery,

And the brown rabbit stirs in her burrow…..

But Ma’s mind is not on counting the dead,

Or on the spreading Covid19 dread,

But on the merry bird music,

Rising to beauteous harmony,

In celebration of all the Living.
