EC bans recruitment and transfer of state officials until conclusion of polls

The Election Commission on Thursday announced that state officials could not be transferred or recruited until local council elections are held.The Commission said that state resources could not be used to promote or undermine candidates as well.The Elections Commission is empowered to take action against the misuse of state property.
