Draft Proposal to restructure CEB still with AG – Kanchana

Minister of Power and Energy at a media briefing held at the Presidential Media Center this morning (23) said that the draft proposal to restructure the Ceylon Electricity Board was with the Attorney General and would be presented to the cabinet as soon as the AG acknowledges that it was in accordance with the constitution.

The Minister also suggested that the percentage of change would not be large if  tariff revisions were performed quarterly rather than the present half yearly tariff revisions.
