Doing it differently…for success

Yohani de Silva became a star, literally, overnight, when she decided to do it differently. And, today, she is a mega star, recognized throughout the world.

Her early beginnings were with the band Lunu, performing in venues, in the city…unknown to many.

When she was asked to do a remake of ‘Manike Mage Hithe,’ she grabbed the opportunity and decided to do it differently, and the rest is history.

Yohani is now based in Mumbai and is involved in several major projects, especially in the movie industry, and that’s a big scene in India…and internationally, as well.

She even did a Telegu song for a movie, and that indicates her popularity.
