Divulapitiya road development projects open to public

The Divulapitiya road development project, which was completed under the national program for the development of 100,000 kilometers under the ‘Vision of Prosperity’ national program of the President’s country building project was declared open on February 13.

These roads were opened to the public under the patronage of Nimal Lanza, State Minister of Rural Roads and Other Infrastructure and Indika Anuruddha, State Minister of Rural Housing and Construction, Building Materials and Industrial Promotion.

Accordingly, Henpitagedara Sakalasuriya Mawatha, Walpita Ethgalawatta Road and Ambagahalanda Gama Meda Road were opened to the public. The length of those roads is 3 km. The amount spent was 49 million rupees.

Chairman of the Divulapitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Indika Jayasinghe, members of Pradheshiya Sabha and officials of the Road Development Authority were also present on the occasion.
