Dinesh meets Russian investors
Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena met Deputy Chairman of the Board of Russian Association for international cooperation, Polozkov Vladimir yesterday in Parliament to discuss potential large scale investment opportunities in Sri Lanka.
The Prime Minister welcomed the delegation and said the two countries have a long standing friendship and diplomatic relations.
The two sides discussed the possible investments in industries, ports and shipping. Ryzhkov Petr, Chairman of the Board of directors of a leading development firm in Moscow, Minister Ramesh Pathirana, Janitha Liyanage, Sri Lankan Ambassador in Moscow and Anura Dissanayake, Secretary to the Prime Minister were also present at the occasion.
