Leader of the House and Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday said that he hoped that there would be no power cuts until the end of the GCE A/L examination.

“I hope those who are tasked with providing an uninterrupted power supply will ensure that students will not be troubled by power cuts,” the Minister said, responding to a question from a journalist during a ceremony to mark the opening of eight newly rehabilitated roads in Gadagama.

“Our objective is to release GCE Advanced Level exam results expeditiously.”

Among those present were Homagama MEP chief organiser MP Yadamini Gunawardene, Homagama PS Member Vikum Kitsiri Soysa and MEP senior level members in the area.
