Dinara wins ITF week I tournament singles title

Dinara de Silva clinched the girls’ singles title of the ITF Junior Circuit week I tournament at the SSC Tennis Courts in Colombo.She beat number one seed Yu Ching Hsieh of Chinese Taipei 7-5, 6-4 in the final.

In the semis she beat Lyail Giham of Indonesia 7-6, 6-1.Dinara joins a selected few to have won such a title. While Angelika Kurera won two titles in 2019, late last year Saajida Rasik won an event in Pakistan.
