Dinara, Lisal win first round matches

Dinara de Silva and Lisal Goonetilleke won their respective girls’ and boys’ first round matches of the ITF Junior Circuit Week I tournament which commenced at the SSC tennis courts on Tuesday.

Dinara beat Apeksha Leddy of India 6-1, 6-1 in her first round singles match.

In the boys’ tournament Lisal overcame Saatvi Ashwing of India 7-5, 6-2 in his first round singles match.

In the other matches in the girls’ category Yu Chinge Wang (Taipe) beat Radha Sadmra (India) 6-1, 6-0 and Aandc Sing (India ) beat Venuli Jayasinghe (Sri Lanka) 6-4, 6-0.

In a boys’ first round match Yen Chux Wangb (Taipe) beat Wan Him Donovan (Hong kong 6-0, 6-0)
