Dinara bags title number three at Colombo Championships  

St. Bridget’s Convent player Dinara de Silva bagged her third title of the 107th Colombo Championships when she teamed up with Saajida Razick to win the Under 18 girls’ doubles final at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts on Sunday. The pair beat Nesangi Hemakumara and Vishmi Serasinghe 4-0, 4-5, 10-7 in the final. The doubles title was Dinara’s third following her victories in the Under 18 and Under 16 girls’ singles finals. On Saturday she won her second singles title when she beat Githmi Fernando 6-4, 6-0 in the Under 16 girls’ singles final. In the Under 18 boys’ singles final played yesterday Anandian Apna Perera registered a 6-1, 6-0 win over Thilina Dissanayake to clinch the title.
