‘Dheevara Suva Saviya’ initiative will be launched from the Wellamankaraya Fishery Port on Friday– State Minister of Fisheries

Minister of State for Fisheries Piyal Nishantha de Silva during a press conference held at the Presidential Media Centre today (24) announced the introduction of a new initiative named ‘Dheevara Suva Saviya’ and that the program’s first phase is set to commence from the Wellamankaraya Fishery Port in Vennappuwa on Friday (26).

‘Dheevara Suva Saviya’ is aimed at enhancing the well-being of fishermen in the country.
