Dharmasena, Ranaweera advance to semi-finals

Ranjan Dharmasena is set to meet Lasantha Ranaweera to fight for a spot in the men’s singles final after the two players won their respective quarter-finals for the hosts at the ongoing International Wheelchair Tennis tournament at the Sri Lanka Tennis Association courts.

Dharmasena beat Thailand’s Worakit Daengchuen 6-2, 6-0 in his quarter-final, while Ranaweera edged out Korea’s Ha- Gel-Lee 6-3, 7-5.

India and Belgium are the other two countries taking part in this International Wheel Chair tournament which will conclude on Sunday.

The semi-final between Dharmasena and Ranaweera will be played today.
