DEW appointed CP Chairman

The new central committee of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka on Saturday (12) appointed Dr. G. Weerasinghe as the General Secretary of the party. Former MP DEW Gunasekera was appointed the Chairman of the party. The Communist Party held their party congress in late February where a new central committee was appointed.
