Death toll in Syria and Turkey more than 300

BBC reported that early statements from officials in Turkey and Syria put the death toll at more than 300, but that is likely to rise

An update from the Syrian health ministry says 237 people have been killed in the country – across the government-held provinces of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartus. while Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) says initial reports from quake-hit areas in the country’s southeast indicate that at least 76 people have died.
