Death of DG Atukorale, ex-Chairman of SEC

D.G. Atukorale, a former Chairman of the State Engineering Corporation and an engineer on the Mahaweli Project passed away peacefully in Sydney, Australia yesterday at the age of 99-years.

He and his wife, Irangani, joined their three children in Australia 20 years ago. Funeral arrangements will be notified later.
