Death of 16-year-old girl: SJB lawmakers demand justice

Deputy Chairman of the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) Palani Digambaram (Nuwara-Eliya District SJB MP) led a protest in Hatton town demanding justice for the 16-year-old J. Ishalini who succumbed to injuries suffered in a fire at SJB MP Rishad Bathiureen residence at Baudhaloka Mawatha on July 3.

Nuwara-Eliya district MP S. Udayakumar also representing Nuwara-Eliya District participated in the protest along with dozens of supporters.
 

SJB MP Palani Digambaram leads Hatton protest

MP Digambaram said that the TPA has lodged a complaint with police headquarters as the party was not satisfied the way the Borella police handled the investigation.
