Deadline for accepting articles extended

Parliament Media Division yesterday (27) announced that as per the request of many, the deadline for accepting Articles for the second volume of “Parliamenthu Sara Sanhitha” Academic Journal has been extended until the 21st of May.

Articles can be forwarded under the themes; Constitution of Sri Lanka and Amendments to the Constitution, Representative Democracy and the Committee System, Legislative functions of Parliament, The Parliament of Sri Lanka and the endowment of its citizens, Standing Orders of Parliament, the Members’ Code of Conduct and Procedures of Parliament, Electoral System of Sri Lanka, The Parliament of Sri Lanka and Public Outreach, Parliamentary Reporting and Mass Communication, Sustainable Development Goals and the Parliamentary System, New trends in Sri Lankan women’s politics, and The role of a Member of Parliament and aspirations of the people.

Articles under the above themes should be between 3000-3500 words and can be submitted in all three language mediums. (Sinhala, Tamil and English). Fonts used for Sinhala Articles should be FM Abhaya, Tamil Bamini and English should be in Times New Roman. The font size should be12 for Sinhala and Tamil and 11 for English. Space between sentences should be 1.5 and Referencing style should be the APA referencing style.

All articles are reviewed by a panel with expertise pertaining to the relevant subject. All those who wish to submit Articles for the second volume of “Parliamenthu Sara Sanhitha” Academic Journal should provide their details on weekdays by calling 0112 777328 from 8.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m.
