David Pieris Group Mercantile Badminton ‘D’ Division champions

David Pieris Group’s men’s badminton team emerged champions in the ‘D’ Division at the recently concluded Mercantile Badminton Tournament. Its veterans’ team secured the fourth place in their category.

On their way to ‘D’ Division title, David Pieris Group defeated Amana Bank and Douglas and Sons at the league stages.

They beat NDB Bank in the semi-finals before beating Douglas and Sons in the finals. The 37th Mercantile Badminton Tournament was held at the Mercantile Badminton Association in Colombo with a participation of 114 teams.
