D & R Exports wins Silver

D & R Exports won a silver award at the medium scale category at the Annual NCE Export Awards. The gala award ceremony, organized by the National Chamber of Exporters was held at Shangri La Hotel, Colombo. The company was established in 1993 as Araliya Impex and carried out its operations as Araliya Exports. In 2013, the company changed its name to D & R Exports. The Company exports to a number of countries including Australia, Dubai, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, France, Cyprus, Qatar, and Kuwait and has won ISO 9001:2008, ISO 9001:2022, HSSAP, and GMP certifications. M. Rajkumar, commenting on the award, said that he is grateful for the staff, suppliers, buyers and the People’s Bank. “We continued to export during COVID ensuring that the livelihoods of our workers are secure.” He further stated. “We want to create an export market for those who produce food items at home. A number of producers from Jaffna are working with us.” Chairperson of D & R Exports Manel Rajkumar said.
