Two suspects arrested

The person who poisoned two suspects, detained at the Wolfendhal Police Station on 07 February over a recent shooting at Jinthupitiya, Kotahena, has been arrested.

Victims Chamindu Darshan (27) and Lakshitha Fernando (29), were admitted to the Colombo National Hospital after consuming a packet of milk, laced with cyanide, given to them by a visitor.

Police said that on Thursday they had arrested the person who gave the two suspects poison. Another suspect, a resident of Kotahena, was also taken into custody. Police also found 20 milligrams of crystal meth in their possession.
