Curtains for consulate in Frankfurt

The Frankfurt consulate will be officially closed down today (31), the foreign ministry sources say.

Foreign Minister Prof. G. L.Peiris has decided to close down the mission.

Sources said all employees at the mission would be terminated and they would not be absorbed into the Sri Lankan embassy in Berlin. (HG)
