Croatia and Argentina qualify for semifinals of World Cup 2022

Tournament favorites Brazil were knocked out of the World Cup on penalties as Croatia kept their nerve to edge through to the semi-finals and Lionel Messi’s World Cup dream lives on after Argentina edged out the Netherlands on penalties after a hugely dramatic quarter-final at Lusail Stadium.

Croatia won on penalties 4-2 (Full Time 1-1) while Argentina edged out Netherlands on penalties 4-3  (Full Time 2-2)
