Cricket…the main topic

Nick Hockley, CEO of Cricket Australia, together with cricket officials, met up for dinner at Upali’s, in Melbourne, in the ‘Caught Mahanama Bowled Vaas’ Room.

The distinguished gathering included Kapila Fonseka, Sri Lanka Consul General Victoria, Ankit Mishra, GM of Strategy and Innovation Cricket Australia, James Allsopp, Executive GM, Community Cricket – Cricket Australia, Ken Jacobs, former CEO Cricket Victoria, Ian Crawford, former President and Consultant Prahran Cricket Club, David and Cathy Cruse, Keith Thompson, Country Cricket Victoria, Keith Jansz, and Johann Jayasinha from Multicultural Cricket.

It was a memorable evening, with cricket taking centre stage, especially with Australia beating England in the Ashes Series 2021/22.

Great cricket topics were shared, including bringing the Multicultural cricket community together and promoting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
