CPC to cut off fuel to 30 errant filling stations

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has decided to stop supplying fuel to over 30 fuel filling stations in the Southern Province as these have not adhered to the QR system.

The CPC has taken this decision following an investigation into a large number of filling stations.Some gas station owners have told the CPC that certain government institutions have requested them to provide fuel outside the QR system.

The CPC has asked these filling staions to prove their claims.
