Court summons MP Rasamanickam, others for participating in protest march

The Kalmunai Magistrate Court has issued summons on Member of Parliament R. Shanakiyan and six others for participating in the Pottuvil to Polikandi protest march, violating a court order.

They have been asked to appear before the Kalmunai Magistrate Court on 30 April, 2021. Shanakiyan told The Island that he had received the summons from Kalmunai Magistrate Court yesterday and was receiving summons from other courts as well.
