In a page-one news report, headlined ‘Gampaha witnesses hike in dengue cases,’ published in The Island edition of 08 Jan, 2024, the trend of dengue prevalence during the last week of 2023 was wrongly described as an increase of 13.9 percent.

It should be corrected as 13.9 percent decrease. We regret the error.
