Genesis: Did it in Nuwara-Eliya

Back, in Colombo, after a hectic nine days, in the cool climes of Nuwara-Eliya, is the band Genesis.

They were seen in action with Karen de Silva on vocals, Rohitha Fernando on keyboards, Neville Davidson, of X-Periments fame, on lead guitar, and leader Kevin Hingert on bass guitar.

Says Kevin: It’s one of our yearly contracts where we take ‘Little England’ by storm, catering to all the holidaymakers who head that way, during the month of April.

“We are back at work, at our usual haunts, in Colombo, and are scheduled to start a new contract at a five-star hotel in the city.”

Genesis will also be seen in action at the Peterite Welfare Society dance, ‘Wild West,’ on 29th July, alongside Misty, at the Golden Rose, Boralesgamuwa.
